Oct 19, 2023 | Blog Hop, Colouring, Step by step, Techniques, Thank you

Hello there Crafty friends. Welcome to this month’s Stamp Impressions Europe Blog Hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from all around Europe and we will be sharing some wonderful ideas based around a monthly theme. This month we have a wonderful colour challenge & I am delighted to share my Feminine Fun Fold With Autumn Leaves.

This month we Have a Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge. Have you tried one? Pick a line horizontally, vertically or diagonally and use those elements to make your project. Don’t worry you can use other products, but these challenges are great for kickstarting a crafting session.

Feminine Fun Fold Card With Autumn Leaves

This week we most definitely moved into Autumn in the UK, having had quite a warm spell since the official end of summer.

It seemed rather apt that my lovely friend Elizabeth Bennett chose the Autumn Leaves Bundle as the focus for my Facebook live this week. This is one of the cards I made to showcase this lovely seasonal offering

Feminine Fun Fold Card With Autumn Leaves

This card combines two of my favourite’s ….. heat embossing & bright colours

  • Make the pretty leaves by ‘smooshing’ some Fluid 100 water colour card with Pecan Pie, Wild Wheat, Pumpkin Pie & Berry Burst Inks
  • Ensure the inks are dry by setting with a heat tool.
  • Die cut out two of the large leaves – How pretty do they look with the beautiful Oxidised Copper veins?
  • Mount the leaves onto a a panel of double embossed Very Vanilla Card
    • First dry emboss with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing folder
    • Next gently wipe some Versamark ink across the surface and heat emboss with some Copper powder
  • Add the panel to a die cut scalloped rectangle .

Create a base of Berry Burst card with a mat layer of the stunning All About Autumn Speciality Designer series paper. Add a little Wild Wheat ink with a Blending brush for a more distressed look.

Voila!

I so enjoyed making this card and I would love to know what you think? Please do leave me a comment.

If you would like to know more about any of my projects please do get in contact and I would be happy to help you. I go live on Facebook every Monday and Wednesday at 11.00 am UTC +1 (BST) showing lots of cardmaking tips and tricks based around a particular Stamp Set or Bundle.
