Welcome to this months Stampin’ for Christmas Blog hop. We our a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from all over the world sharing Christmas card making and papercraft ideas using Stampin’ Up! Supplies. I am very excited to show you how to use Shimmery Paste on your Christmas Cards.

How To Use Shimmery Paste on your Christmas Cards

I am always on the lookout for different ways to use the products in my stash and this month I decided to have a play with the Shimmery White Embossing Paste. I also pulled out my new Holographic Trio Speciality Card. It is so gorgeous and influenced the colours chosen for this contemporary looking card.

The background has been created by a thin layer of the Shimmery Embossing paste over a piece of Basic white card

Leave for a few minutes until it stats to dry, then stamp the Snow Crystal into the paste using some Orchid Oasis Ink

Because the paste still has a little ‘give’ you get this lovely soft debossed image in the paste and the shimmer in the paste takes on the colour of the ink

To add some additional detail add some fleckles to the card with some Stampin Blends

The sentiment is from the Ringed with Nature Stamp set and has been heat embossed in white onto a piece of Orchis Oasis Card

Add a double bow of silver simply elegant trim

Finish with some Rhinestones
