Hello and thanks for stopping by my blog today! I’m so happy to be sharing my project with you today and to show you my Cool Copper Gorgeously Made Thank you Card.

I’m so excited to be featured in this month’s International Highlights Top Ten Winners Blog Hop hosted by Kylie Bertucci. I was selected to participate in this hop by finishing in the top ten of the June 2023 International Highlights. A huge thank you to everyone who voted for my card!

I made this card on Saturday during our Stampin’ Up! Demo only Creativity Now Online event.

It was a lovely class full of makes, demo’s and some behind the scenes sharing of the design concepts and I had such a fun time.

I was a bit of a silly billy and forgot to order the stamp set being used on the day so I had to make do with stamps and dies in my stash and use the make and takes as sketches.

This card was inspired by a layout using a leaf die and its negative for the embossing paste. Of course I changed it all up to make it my own!!!

How to Make A Copper Gorgeously Made Thank you Card

• Assemble the pieces of card as per the measurements below
• Add some shimmery embossing past to the card using one of the four square decorative masks
• Set aside to dry for 15 minutes
• Die cut the leaves & use a blending brush to add some Garden Green Ink
• Die cut the branch in Rose Gold Foil
• Stamp the sentiment in Copper Clay Ink and die cut out
• Take the base card and check the paste is dry
• Add some flecks of Basic Black and Copper Clay Blends to the base card
• Add the leaves and then the branch using Glue Dots
• Take a loop pf Copper Clay Textured ribbon and add a bow of Linen thread
• Add to the card with Mini Glue dots
• Add the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals
• Finish with some copper Brushed Metallic Adhesive backed dots

• Base: Gray Granite – 21.0 cm by 14.0 cm scored and burnished at 10.5 cm
• Leaves: Basic White – 12.0 cm by 8.0 cm
• Branch: Rose Gold Speciality Foil – 12.0 cm by 8.0 cm
• Sentiment: Balmy Blue – 7.5 cm by 3.0 cm
