This month we are creating fun projects using the products from the Fancy Flora Suite and I am sharing a birthday card using lots of fresh spring colours

I chose to focus on the Two-Tone floral Stamps set with its pretty photopolymer flowers and coordinating foliage.

Check out the gorgeous Fancy Flora DSP. Almost too pretty to cut! But it does need to be shared with the world………..

Two-Tone Floral Birthday Card

My card design was based around the colours of the DSP and is based on blue tones with a pop of yellow!

How To Make A Two-Tone Floral Birthday Card

Rather than make a video for this card I decided to re-create this card on my Facebook Live this morning.

Tips for re-creating this card:

  • The first layer was stamped with the small flowers using Versamark Ink
  • If you have very ‘juicy’ ink pads, then even out the ink using a blending brush (see the Facebook live for a demonstration)
  • Stamp & Die cut all the images and arrange before adhering to your card
  • Add colour to the stamens and flower centres using a So Saffron Dark Stampin’ Blend
  • Heat emboss the sentiment in white for a lovely pop of fresh colour
  • Lastly, if you find the larger embellishments over whelming then nestle them under a raised die cut
