How To Create A Beautiful Contemporary Valentines Card – Tech 4 Stampers Blog Hop

Jan 10, 2023 | All Occasions, Blog Hop, Wedding / Love

Welcome to our Tech 4 Stampers blog hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from all around the world who are members of the Tech 4 Stampers Academy run by the amazing Louise Sims. Her Website School and Tech Academy helps Stampin Up Demonstrators navigate their way around the world of websites and social media. Now many of us have our websites up and running, a blog hop seemed the next logical step. This month the theme is Love, and I am excited to share how I made this pretty contemporary Valentines Card

contemporary Valentines Card

One of my must haves from the new Mini Catalogue is the Love for you bundle. I love big fonts and flowers so this is a marriage made in heaven for me!

Using some DSP from the Country Floral Lane Suite for a perfect colour palette match – Sweet Sorbet & Petal Pink

The sentiment is inked in Petal Pink ink and then some Sweet Sorbet Ink is added using a blending brush

There are coordinating dies to cut out the words and they have been rearranged on a stitched Circle to say ‘Love you so much’

Adding some romantic hearts from the Country Bouquet Bundle, stamped in more Sweet Sorbet Ink.

Take some die cut foliage in Vellum and Basic White Card and add some colour using a blending brush

Finish with some White Bakers twine and some Pastel Adhesive Backed sequins

Measurements – contemporary Valentines Card

  • Base Card (Petal Pink): 29.7cm by 10.5cm, scored and burnished at 14.8cm
  • First Layer (Sweet Sorbet ): 14.5cm by 10.2 cm
