Creativity Abounds Blog Hop

This month we are sharing any Christmas projects we wish!

The adorable Santa’s Delivery bundle is one of those Stamp sets that has so many possibilities. You can see my 3D Wow Advent Calendar HERE

Great for colouring as you can see below, but if that’s not your thing, then there are some amazing images in the coordinating DSP that you can use the dies to cut out saving ooodles of time

Santa’s Delivery Z-Fold Card

I just love how this card came together.

It features some of the fabulous Storybook Gnomes 12″ x 12″ DSP to create a lovely background scene.

Z fold templates are a great way to create fabulous long image cards.

The images has been coloured with Blends and then a lovely shimmer effect has been created using a Wink Of Stella Glitter pen.

Measurements – Santa’s Delivery Z-Fold Card

  • Base Card (Thick Basic White): 28.0 cm by 10.5 cm scored at 7.0 cm & 14.0 cm
  • First Layers (Storybook Gnomes DSP): CUT 2 6.7 cm by 10.2 cm & 13.7 cm by 10.2 cm
  • Second Layer (Window Sheet): 28.0cm by 3.5 cm scored at 14.0 cm & 21.0 cm
  • Images & Sentiment (Basic White ): Half Sheet
  • Tree backing (Balmy Blue): Scrap
  • Rail Tracks (White Glimmer Paper) : 15.2 cm by 4.0 cm

How to make this Santa’s Delivery Z-Fold Card

Prepare all your pieces

  • Take the card base and add the Window Sheet Z Fold to the Left hand side of the card using Tear Tape.
  • Add all the first Layer DSP using Multipurpose Glue
  • Attach the other side of the Window Sheet Z fold to the far right hand side of the card using Tear Tape.
  • Stamp the train and three carriages in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
  • Use some strips of masking sheet on the top and bottom of the train window and stamp the penguins, Presents and Sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
  • Colour the images using Stampin’ Blends
  • Die cut the images and set aside
  • Stamp two of the tree images in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
  • Colour the images using Stampin’ Blends
  • Die cut the images and set aside
  • Die cut two tree outlines using the scrap of Balmy Blue card.
  • Using the remaining Basic white card, stamp two sets of steam clouds and a sign in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
  • Colour the images using Stampin’ Blends
  • Die cut the sign and fussy cut the steam clouds and set aside
  • Stamp the main sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
  • Punch out using the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch
  • Run the light Smoky Slate Stampin Blend around the outside edge and soften with the Color Lifter Stampin Blend.
  • Die cut THREE train tracks using the White Glimmer Paper

Assemble your Card

  • Adhere the train tracks to the front of the card using Mini Glue Dots
  • Add the train, carriages, smoke, sentiment & sign to the card using Dimensionals
  • Adhere the trees to the die cut Balmy Blue trees with Multipurpose Glue
  • Add to the top of the carriages with Multipurpose Glue
  • Die cut the tag using the scrap of Basic Black
  • cover all the images with sparkle using the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen
  • Don’t forget to add a place to sign the card on the back and decorate the envelope.
