United Through Creativity Card
So I wanted to create a card that had a little story behind it. I have a wonderful South African customer who loves her card making. She and her husband met in Johannesburg, where she was an art teacher and he a struggling artist. With the political system in place at the time they were forced to move to the UK in the 1950’s so they could marry and be together in peace. This image reminded me of their story and how they truly were united by their creativity.
To make the card I printed the image and sentiment on our wonderful Basic White card and coloured them with Stampin’ Blends.
I took my colour pallet from the wonderful Pattern Party paper which you can earn for FREE. Yep, this whopper pack of 48 sheets 12″ x 12″ of double sided paper can be earned for FREE with a qualifying order of £170. Why not place an order with friends and share the pack amongst you?

- Card Base: Basic White – 29.0 cm by 14.5 cm scored at 14.5 cm to form the base
- First Layer: Poppy Parade – 13.5 cm cm by 13.5 cm
- Second Layer: Pattern Party DSP – 13.2 cm by 13.2 cm
- Third Layer: Poppy Parade – 10.3 cm by 10.3 cm
- Fourth Layer; Basic White – Printed image cut down to 10.0 cm by 10.0 cm
- Sentiment: Basic White – Printed image fussy cut out
