Tag Buffet Blog Hop – Fake it ’til you make it!

Nov 12, 2020 | 3D items, Blog Hop, Gift Ideas, Kits

Welcome to the Crafty Bloggers hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from all around the world. Each month we will be showcasing some of the wonderful products which can found in our suite of catalogues. Today we are hopping using the wonderful Tag Buffet Stamp set and Project Kit .

Now I have to confess I forgot to order this kit and Stamp Set so I decided I would pay homage to the Project Kit, by using some alternative products for my Tags. So my first decision was to select some DSP. My favourite pack this week is the Trimming the Town DSP so that was a tick in the box.

I cut 12 Tags, 6 in the DSP and 6 in standard Whisper White. To create the Tag I cut a tab off 2 cm across and down on the top of each tag to create a more traditional shape as these large labels were too large to fit into my Tag top punches.

Tag Buffet with Christmas Gleaming

Looking at the images I was drawn to the Decoration as I knew I could replace the image with one from the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set

I stamped the larger decoration in Misty Moonlight Ink straight onto the tag and then three more times on a scrap of Whisper White. The great benefit of using this image is there is a coordinating punch which makes punching out those additional images super easy. I can see a whole host of these being made over the weekend to use for this season’s gift giving.

Next I coloured the decorations with Blends and overlaid with Wink of Stella, before folding each additional punched item in half and glued together to create a 3D. Whilst the glue dried I stamped the little speckles in Old Olive Ink.

Finally I added some Holly, a sentiment and same cute ribbon

Voila!

I had great fun making this card and I would love to know what you think? Please do leave me a comment.

If you would like to know more about any of this project please do get in contact and I would be happy to help you

So please hop around the rest of the wonderful demonstrators blogs to see some more inspiration for using these wonderful patterned papers
