10 past 10
It’s Monday so it must be By Royal Appointment time. So this week our guest designer is the wonderful Lola, from Stempelritterin.de. , Munich, Germany A huge thank you to her for this project. All the details can be found below which will also link to Lola’s website so you can look at other beautiful creations by Lola.
10 past 10
Have you ever noticed that all the analog clocks in a store are set to 10 past 10? The reason for that is quite simple: the human brain sees this as a smile. And we all rather buy something with a smile. Even if it has a tendency to end our nights at unduly hours.
I know there is no clock on the bags I’ve used to wrap this season’s paper share.
BTW: I love to buy plain white paper bags, there are quite easy to stamp on and so they look special rather easily. But this was not the topic of the day, we were looking for the 10 past 10.
So if you look closely at the tags, you see the lovely snowman:
And the snowmen – or snowpersons to be more inclusive – have their arms also set to 10 past 10.
So, they not just smile, they even offer you a hug. I would always recommend that you use dimensionals to stick the snowpersons to the tags. That makes it a bit more interesting.
What a great gift wrapping project! So a huge thanks to Lola.
So has that got your creative juices flowing? Well this stamp set is from the new Autumn/Winter catalogue Plus if you buy the stamp set and coordinating punch as part of a bundle you can save 10% off the combined price so great value as well!
Don’t have a copy? Would you like one? If you would like to buy from me and are not currently a demonstrator or have one you buy from, then send me a message here with your name and address and I will pop one in the post to you.
