Impressions Abloom Floral Thank You Card

This card was such a joy to create, and it’s all about texture, soft pastels, and layering to bring those die-cut blooms to life. Whether you’re here for inspiration or to find new techniques for your next card, I hope you enjoy this floral moment as much as I enjoyed making it!

The Inspiration 🌼

With spring in full bloom, I wanted to capture that soft, uplifting energy using pastel tones and dimensional florals. I combined two of the sentiments —“Thanks So Very Much”—to really pop and convey heartfelt gratitude, making it perfect for any occasion.

How I Made It ✂️

1. Background Texture
I started with a white card base and added a layer of dimension using the Dotted Circles 3D embossing Folder. This adds depth without distracting from the florals—just enough to give the card a playful, tactile quality.

2. Floral Arrangement
The flowers and leaves were die-cut in Basic White and lightly ink-blended in Peach, Pie, Summer Splash, Pretty in Pink and Lemon Lime Twist. I used Dimensionals & Mini Glue Dots for layering and arranged them in a half-wreath shape around a circular frame. A mix of large blooms and tiny accent flowers keeps things balanced and interesting.

3. Sentiment
The sentiment is heat embossed in white on a Summer Splash strip for contrast. I love how it draws your eye right to the center and complements the floral colour palette beautifully.

4. Finishing Touches
A few gems from the coordinating suite in matching tones add a bit of sparkle, and that’s it! No extra fuss—just a fresh, joyful thank you card.
