Jul 11, 2024 | 3D items, Blog Hop, Gift Ideas, Thank you

Welcome to the Stampin Dreams Blog hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from all around the world. We love showcasing some of the wonderful products which can found in our suite of catalogues. This month’s theme is Anything but a box!, which gives me the perfect excuse to share this fun Faux Bird House Gift Box that I recently made on my Connect-Craft-Chat session this morning.

Faux Bird House Gift Box

This week I have been sharing projects using the wonderful Winterly Tree Tops Suite on my Connect-Craft-Chat Facebook live events. Its available from the upcoming September to December, but demos were able to order it early as part of a recent Creativity event. So I hope you enjoy this sneak. You can see more about this project HERE and more inspiration HERE

And while my creating this box on camera served the dual purpose of firstly, sharing a 3D project showcasing the DSP from the suite, and secondly, giving me a cute project idea for you all today, it quickly served for an unexpected timely 3rd use…

The idea for this box came from a swap I received a few weeks ago at a team event. I adapted it so that I could make two out of one sheet of cardstock. After all I am a bit of a frugal crafter!!

I love the fun top, secured a small clip I had laying around in the craft room. It looks just like a little bird house Inside are a couple of sweet treats

Faux Bird House Gift Box – Measurements

Oh and that third use for this box….. well of course I used it with the card I made on my live as a thank you to a neighbour who managed to reunite a stray cat from our road with its owner some 15 miles away 6 months after it had gone missing! What a lovely happy ending.

Voila!

I so enjoyed making this project and I would love to know what you think? Please do leave me a comment.
