Stampin Up demonstrator – Crafty Little Minx – Back to the future Part 3
In the last of my last of my catch up posts I’m going to whet your appetite with some of the great ideas I saw at the recent Stampin Up! Onstage local event I attended in Telford in April. These events are an opportunity for demonstrators to get together, catch up, swap ideas, recognise outstanding achievements, sample new upcoming products and generally have lots of fun. Oh, and we have the chance to get our hands on the new 16-17 catalogue which goes live tomorrow 1st June! I have to say that this years catty has some absolutely fabulous new products, many of which will be making their way into my basket soon.
So I belong to a fabulous group of demo’s known as the Royal Stampers and we do know how to have fun! Our leader is the amazing Pip Todman who was one of the presenters on stage (see below), and who has just returned from her first incentive trip, a Mediterranean cruise no less! There are some great perks to being a demo, including instant discount, rewards, flexible points which you can redeem against products or lots of other goodies. I will be sharing a too good to miss offer with you tomorrow.
so firstly I want to introduce the Floral Boutique suite:
This set has the most stunning stamp set and accompanying die set, which you can buy as a bundle ans get a 10% discount. I can see this in various lovely colours to celebrate, a wedding, special anniversary, birthday or thank you’s. Showcased to perfection in Night of navy it has matching washi tape and bakers twine. Add a bit of bling and you have an ideal go to kit.
The new versatile Moroccan suite is a great set which could be used for any occasion and I for one will be using it for some great unisex cards and gift wrapped.
Now I’m more of a purple, than a pink girl, but who could resist this strong bold colour way and the accompanying stamp set is just so on trend. Everywhere I look there are pineapples and flamingo’s and I plan to makes some great hen invites and party bags for a friend who’s wedding I am helping with. check out those cute gold binder clips. they will definitely be featuring on the project.
I’m just loving the new in-colours, fresh and vibrant and such fun names:
- Peakaboo Peach – a lovely soft peachy colour. Well the name was a bit of a give away!
- Flirty Flamingo – a rich mid tone pink
- Sweet Sugarplum – a stunning neon lilac with an underlying blue tone
- Emerald Envy – sumptuous Irish green
- Dapper Denim – Luxurious Indigo blue.
Here are some of the team who attended the day , with Chris from the European head office (L to R – Leonore, Pip, Barry, Sanjay, myself, Chris) and below I’m with one of my down lines the very talented Hilary Wright.
Finally I will leave you with an inspirational project from one of the creative teams at the event. I don’t know who made it, but its a real peach!!! (Is that a pun too far?)
Sending you thanks for looking
Stampin hugs
Sara
