Country Birdhouses

Have you see the wonderful Country Birdhouse bundle? Its part of the stunning Country Woods bundle on page 48-51 of the Annual Catalogue. I have been playing with it for weeks as it featured on our recent Stamp Camp. This week it also featured on my two Connect-craft-chat Facebook Lives which you can watch on replay HERE & HERE

Feathered Family Country Birdhouse Easel Card

I do love a mash up project and this card was such fun to make. You may have even noticed a sneak peak of some new products heading our way very soon 😉

When I am designing a card I often create a little back story to the scene. In this instance a family of little birds! so cute

The card front is popped onto a square easel fold so the birdhouse nestled in the foliage can be seen at it’s best

Measurements – Feathered Family Country Birdhouse Easel Card

  • Base: Pecan Pie – 11 1/2″ x 5 3/4″ folded to form card
  • Layer 1 : Pecan Pie – 5 5/8″ x 5 5/8″
  • Layer 2 : Country Woods DSP – 5″ x 5″

The birdhouse is stamped in Memento Ink and coloured with Stampin’ Blends

All the die cuts have been made in Basic white card and then the colour added with a mix of Ink & Blending brushes or Stampin Blends. I love this technique as you can add layers of colour to create more depth & texture
