Welcome to the Crafty Collaborations Crafty Challenge blog hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from all around the world. We love showcasing the wonderful products which can found in our suite of catalogues. This month we have a dice challenge and I am thrilled to share my Botanical Layers 3 x 3 Celebration cards
Dice Challenge
So this month our theme is to create a project using the elements from a dice throw!!
This seems a very fun idea and great for those times when you are stumped for a starting point!
I chose to use:
- Masking
- In color
- 3 x 3
Botanical Layers 3 x 3 Celebration cards
My main pre-order is currently winging its way from our distribution centre, so in the meantime I only had the new In-color Inks so chose to use them for ALL of my card making.
I love all of the new In-colors individually and with such small cards, a Monochromatic scheme was the obvious choice!
Use masing paper & a circular punch to create an aperture
Gently add a little ink using a blending brush
The images are from the Botanical Layers and the Dainty Delight Stamp sets which are carrying over into the new Catalogue
The sentiment is from the Dainty Delight Stamp set and is also stamped in the same In-color Ink
What looks like coloured card is actually Basic White Card! Gently wipe the ink pad across the card and hey presto! you have matching cardstock!! Woo – Hoo
Once dry cut in half to create two 3.5 cm by 3.5 cm cards
To finish add some Milky dots (retiring) or Basic Rhinestones would be a great alternative
Botanical Layers 3 x 3 Celebration cards – Measurements
- Base: Basic White– 15.2cm by 7.6 cm scored and burnished at 7.6 cm
- First Layer: Basic White – 7.0cm by 3.5 cm
- Second Layer: Basic White – 7.0 by 7.0 cm
Voila!
I so enjoyed making this card and I would love to know what you think? Please do leave me a comment.
