We blog monthly, offer a tutorial bundle (which you receive for free with a qualifying order)and three times a year we offer a wonderful weekend stamp camp.

This weekend we have been making projects using the Boughs of Holly suite.

At a first glance you might be mistaken for thinking that this suite would produce very similar looking projects, but as we showed this weekend the variety of options you have are infinite!

Poinsettia Christmas Wishes Card

I do love a picture challenge. It’s a great starting point to unleash your creativity and can be interpreted in so many ways.

You could select to use the colours, layout, feeling or literally just recreate the picture.

As you will see you can do what ever you wish!

Poinsettia Christmas Wishes Card

This card was so quick and simple to make.

I took inspiration from the layout of the photo challenge for my card. Using three images and loops to replace the Mince pies and holly leaves.

The first layer has been coloured with Evening Evergreen Ink using a Blending Brush before being embossed using the Timber 3D embossing folder

The woven ribbon has been frayed to create a fringe

The images are fussy cut from the wonderful Boughs of Holly DSP

Add three loops of the Simply Elegant Trim under the sentiment.

Finish with some Pearls coloured with an Evening Evergreen Stampin’ Blend.

Measurements – Poinsettia Christmas Wishes Card

  • Base: Thick Basic White – 29.7 cm by 10.5 cm cm scored at 14.8 cm and folded to form card
