Welcome to the Crafty Collaborations Crafty Challenge blog hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from all around the world. We love showcasing the wonderful products which can found in our suite of catalogues. This month we have a colour challenge and I am thrilled to share two cards I made on my Facebook Live this morning.
Colour Challenge
So this month our theme is to create a project using these pretty colours
Happy Birthday with Fresh Cut Stems
The colours from the challenge really said flowers to me. With just two days left to grab you perfect Partners dies it seemed timely to chose the Fresh Cut Stems Dies for todays projects
Concentrating on the dies that are in additional to the ones cutting the outlines of the stamped Images it was fun playing with some of the potentially overlook dies in the set
Happy Birthday with Fresh Cut Stems – Twigs & Sprigs
Using just two of the dies, this simple card is just so elegant and pretty.
The small bud was die cut three times and then coloured using blending brushes
The edging die really adds some wonderful detail to the card.
The second layer of Smoky Slate has been embossed with the Sprigs and Twigs Embossing Folder. To highlight those pretty leaves, gently wipe the Whisper White Craft Stampin’ Pad across the raised areas to make them pop!
Happy Birthday with Fresh Cut Stems – Twigs & Sprigs – Measurements
- Base: Thick Basic White– 29.7cm by 10.5 cm scored and burnished at 14.8 cm
- First Layer: Basic Black – 13.8 cm by 9.5 cm
- Second Layer: Smoky Slate – 13.5 cm by 9.2 cm
- Third Layer : Basic White – 11.0 cm by 3.5 cm
- Edging: Basic Black – Scrap
Happy Birthday with Fresh Cut Stems – Stitched Greenery Dies
Using a similar layout this card uses more of the dies and and has been paired with the Biggest Wish Stamp Set
This time the Smoky Gray layer has been ‘die cut’ using the Stitched Greenery Dies which create such a pretty detailed back ground.
The die cuts have been arranged around the sentiment and for a little additional bling a Sprig Trinket was nestled into the arrangement.
Voila!
I so enjoyed making these cards and I would love to know what you think? Please do leave me a comment.
If you would like to know more about any of my projects please do get in contact and I would be happy to help you
