Spruced Up Blended Christmas Tree Card

If you know me, then you will know that I love love love my blending brushes So its no surprise that I just had to grab them on my recent Facebook live when I had a play with the Spruced Up Bundle

You can see exactly how I made this card on my Facebook live and you won’t believe how easy it is to make with just a handful of products.

If you are busy making your Christmas card right now then this is a perfect style as you can make 4 cards from the die cuts, so bulk card making is a cinch!

How To Make a Spruced Up Blended Christmas Tree Card

Take the piece of Soft Succulent card and create an vignette effect using the Blending brushes and Soft Succulent & Evening Evergreen inks.

Next sprinkle some water over the blended card. Leave for a few seconds, then mop up the water with some kitchen towel to remove some of the ink and create some extra texture.

Wrap some Open Weave ribbon around the card and tie in a bow. You can then adhere the layer to the base card.

Next take you pieces of Gimmer card. Die cut a large and small tree from each colour.

Adhere three of the trees to your card. Use Multipurpose glue for the outline trees or Dimensionals for the inner solid tree shapes. You could even mix them up!

The sentiment is stamped in Evening Evergreen and cut out using the double oval punch. Then glue onto the other punched oval in Gold Glimmer. Fix tot he card with Dimensionals

Finish with some Brushed Metallic adhesive backed dots

These cards really are such fun to make and the die cut trees look so pretty surrounded by the shading.
