Welcome to our monthly Casually Crafting Blog Hop! and my sepia Caroling Mice Christmas card.
Casually Crafting Design Team Blog Hop
The Casually Crafting Design Team is a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world, gathered together to share our passion for creativity with you. Our focus is to bring you inspiration featuring projects that are easy to create while still packing a powerful creative punch. The projects are made with a few products, making them ideally suited to a beginner or casual crafter. From time-to-time, we may also include a project that is stepped-up for the added wow-factor
We will be sharing our ideas on the 3rd Saturday of each month and you can hop around the group and gather loads of inspiration. So grab yourself a cup of your favourite beverage, sit back & enjoy the hop!

Caroling Mice Stamp set
Today I am using one of the cutest stamp sets – Caroling Mice. Yes, this is the American spelling of carolling!
Its images are perfect for colouring and with so many mediums to chose from you are spoilt for choice
Decoupage Sepia Caroling Mice Christmas Card
As I mentioned, there are loads of different colouring mediums you could use for these mice. Watercolour with Pencils or Ink, Pastels, paper piecing……… so many options
As we have been away this week I prepared the card and then packed it ready to complete in our down time.
The mice have been stamped three times in Early Espresso Ink and fussy cut out to create distinct layers
Next to create the sepia effect, use the Wink of Stella across the images. Sadly I forgot my Soft Suede ink, which I planned to add more definition and shading, bit I still love the simplicity and impact of the sparkly multi layers.
The sentiment has been heat embossed in gold and fussy cut, before adding to the card with Mini Stampin Dimensionals.
The bow has been made with Linen Thread and the card finished with Rustic Adhesive Backed Dots.
Voila!
I had great fun making this card. So, please do leave me a comment, letting me know what you think.
If you would like to know more about any of my projects please do get in contact and I would be happy to help you
So now it’s time to hop around the rest of the wonderful demonstrators blogs to see some more inspiration
