Welcome to the Crafty Collaborations blog hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from all around the world. We love showcasing the wonderful products which can found in our suite of catalogues. Our theme is Fun in the Sun and it fits perfectly with a gold leaf Sunshine card I made earlier in the week on my Facebook Live celebrating the unusually hot weather we are experiencing in the the UK right now
Good Feelings
The Good Feelings stamp set is exactly what it says on the label. A collection of bold feel good sentiments which make the perfect focal point for a card
Rays of light
I just had to pair the stamp set with the wonderful Rays of Light Background stamp
I k=just love the sketchy feel to the stamp and as you will see its a great way to evoke sunshine with just one impression.
Gold Leaf Sunshine Card
As I mentioned above I made this card on a recent Facebook Live and it was a scorching hot day as the UK basked in an unusual heatwave.
It can be quite daunting to stamp with such a large stamp as the Rays of Light stamp set, but never fear the Stamparatus ensure you get a perfect image every time.
I just love taking a simple piece of card and using colour to create interest. Why not check out my Facebook live to see just how easy it really is?
The rays were stamped with Crushed Curry Ink and then I added a little Pumpkin Pie ink with a a Blending Brush to warm up the rays.
I added a little gold leaf to the edges of the rays for some more shine using Heat and Stick powder and a little multi purpose glue.
Once the base is dry (use a heat gun to speed up the process), you can stamp the image on. I used Versamark and then some Memento Black ink. Whilst the ink was still wet I added some clear embossing powder to create a crisp raised image. I love using clear embossing in this way as you can convert any colour ink to an embossed image so easily.
