Creativity Abounds Blog Hop
This month we are creating projects using the wonderful New 2022-24 In-color’s. They are just so pretty and I really can’t pick a favourite as it changes everyday.
I am also using the Happiness abounds Stamp Set, which is part of the Hue’s of Happiness suite that features in our next Stamp Camp in July.
There are 13 video tutorials with accompanying Make and Take packs PLUS further Tutorial demonstrations showcasing 13 more projects. That’s 26 in total

In-Color Stampin’ Blend cards
I made these fabulous backgrounds and cards on a recent Facebook live. You can check out how I made these cards HERE
The magic ingredient is the wonderful Mother of Pearl card which acts as a wonderful sparking base for the background. Below is a magnified view of the card which really show off this beautiful pearl effect.
My first card uses the Starry Sky, Orchid Oasis, Tahitian Tide and Parakeet Party Stampin Blends,
Just scribble over the piece of Mother of Pearl card and then add some rubbing alcohol over the top to start ‘melting’ the colours. Use a heat gun in a well ventilated room to drive off the alcohol and you are left with a stunning and original background for your card
For this card just add some beautiful heat embossed white leaves. The ribbon was coloured with a Stampin’ blend to match and the sentiment popped on a scrap of Parakeet Party. Finished with some 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots.
In-Color Stampin’ Blend cards – Alternate
The alternate card is made using the final NEW In-color Stampin Blend Sweet Sorbet which has been paired with Polished Pink, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight Stampin Blends.
The beautiful background has been over stamped with one of the pretty flowers from the Happiness abounds Stamp set
Once again the White Organdy ribbon has been coloured. This time with the Dark Sweet Sorbet Stampin Blend and then finished with some Matte Black dots.

This is a wonderful Technique and you could use any colour Stampin’ Blends for your backgrounds. Just be careful not to mix some of the contrasting colours up too much to avoid ‘muddifying’ the results. I would love to see what your favourite colour combo might be.
