Apr 19, 2022 | Blog Hop, Childrens crafts, Techniques

Hello there Crafty friends. Welcome to this month’s Stamp Impressions Europe blog hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from all around Europe and we will be sharing some wonderful ideas based around a monthly theme. This month we are sharing some fun Kids cards. I can’t wait to share my batch make ombre kids cards

Ombre Kids Cards

I love to batch make cards when ever I can to keep my grab and stash topped up. So this week I thought I would share my batch making process & how I use up my scraps on my Facebook live

Its always handy to have cards for the little ones in our lives and these really fit the bill for some relaxing colouring on a Bank Holiday Monday!

Using three different Stamp sets, some of which will only be available for a other few days. So if you fancy recreating these cards, then make sure you grab them asap before they are gone forever!

Ombre Kids Cards

All the cards have an identical layout and the coloured cardstock has all come form my scrap files.

Each image is stamped in Tuxedo Memento Ink and then spend some relaxing time colouring with Stampin Blends.

The really fun element is the ombre layer that is on each card as they really step up the design to the next level. So pretty!

Ombre Kids Cards – Little Monkeys

Using the Catch you Later Stamp set, layer on Petal Pink Card. The ombre effect is created using Blending Brushes & Old Olive Ink.

Ombre Kids Cards – Little Mermaid

Use the Pirates and Mermaids Stamp set and layer on Balmy Blue Card. The ombre effect is created using Blending Brushes and Fresh Freesia and Polished Pink Ink.

The additional layer was to cover an ink smudge & gave me a great opportunity for a design change.

Ombre Kids Cards – Pampered Pets

Use the Pampered Pets Stamp set and layer on Real Red Card. The ombre effect is created using Blending Brushes and Real Red Ink.
