How To Make A Hoppy Easter Card – Stamp Impressions Blog Hop

Mar 19, 2022 | Blog Hop, Celebrate, Sale-a-bration, Techniques

Hello there Crafty friends. Welcome to this month’s Stamp Impressions Europe blog hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from all around Europe and we will be sharing some wonderful ideas based around a monthly theme. This month we are celebrating Spring and Easter with our HOPPY EASTER theme – I just love that play on words! So I am sharing my Hoppy Easter Card with a little twist!

Hoppy Easter Card

As we are still away in the Caribbean watching The England vs West Indies test series I am still working from my Travel Case!

When I saw the theme for this months Blog Hop I realised I had not brought a rabbit to fulfil that lovely ‘Hoppy’ theme. No matter, I just simply scanned through my

How as I was looking through my case to see what I could I came across my Daffodil Dies

Can you see the die that I was very excited to spot?

If you trim off the bottom petal then you have a bunny head complete with ears. Yay!

I cut two shapes, one in Basic White and one in Balmy Blue then drew a face and ears onto the front using a basic Black Marker.

I used wonderfully versatile Playful Alphabet dies to create the sentiment and replaced the ‘O’ or ‘A’ with a the little bunnies head. The colours are all bright spring colours to create a pop of vibr.ancy

Using a Post-It Note to create a mask, add some splatters of coordinating ink using a Water Painter and Bone Folder!

Once the mask is removed add a doodle frame using a Basic Black Marker.

To finish add a small Gold twine Bow and some Gilded Gems

Voila!

I so enjoyed making this card and I would love to know what you think? Please do leave me a comment.

If you would like to know more about any of my projects please do get in contact and I would be happy to help you. I go live on Facebook every Monday and Wednesday at 11.00 am UTC +1 (BST) showing lots of cardmaking tips and tricks
