Creativity Abounds Blog Hop

This month we are creating fun-fold projects.

I decided to create an extended Z Fold card using the wonderful Rainbow of Happiness Bundle

Even better if you purchase this bundle with the pretty Iridescent Rhinestones before the end of February you could pick up this pack of paper for FREE. Its so bright ans pretty

Right up my street!

Rainbow Extended Z Fold card

This style of card really showcases those wonderful FREE Sale-a-bration Sunshine and Rainbow Papers. They are just happiness in a packet!!

This card requires just half a sheet of Misty Moonlight card & one 6″ by 6″ sheet of the DSP (although strictly speaking the the rainbow is due cut from another piece of DSP!).

The front is extended using a piece of the DSP added to the back of the tab using Seal + for a perfect join

The decoration on the front is made by using one of the coordinating dies which lines up perfectly with those stripes. Such a beautiful result for minimum effort!!

The clouds are also from the coordinating dies and are a perfect way to use up your offcut scraps of Basic White.

Measurements – Rainbow Extended Z Fold card Card

  • Base card: Misty Moonlight – measuring 28.0 cm x 10.0 cm, scored at 14.0 cm & 3.0 cm
  • Extension Piece: Rainbows and Sunshine DSP – 10.0 cm by 10.0 cm
  • Second Layer: Misty Moonlight – 7.3 cm by 7.3 cm
