Rainbow Hexagon Thank You Cards

I made these cards on a recent Facebook Live and loved them so much I made a whole heap more to send to my customers & Team. I love bright cards so my colour combination was a total no brainer!

This was actually the card I made with the left over pieces from the first card I made on the live, but its the one I mass produced for my customer thank you cards. after the event.

To save time I inked a whole A4 sheet of Basic White and then cut it down to size afterwards!

Measurements – Rainbow Hexagon Thank You Cards

  • Card Base: Thick Basic White – 21.0cm by 19.0 cm scored on short side at 9.5 cm
  • First Layer: Basic Grey – 21.0 cm by 6.5 cm
  • Second Layer: Basic White – 21.0 cm by 6.0 cm
  • Sentiment L1: Basic Grey – scrap 9.0 cm by 3.5 cm
  • Sentiment L2: Basic White – scrap 9.0 cm by 3.5 cm
  • Hexagons : Basic White Scrap (left over from alternate card)

Rainbow Hexagon Team Card

If you watch the Facebook Live you will quickly realise that I made the card below first & I used this card to celebrate a team member qualification in the month.

How to make this Rainbow Hexagon Team Card

  • Take the first layer and use the some blending brushes to add the ink making sure you carefully blend each colour together to avoid greying or muddying the colour
  • Attach to the base card with glue
  • Take layer 2 and die cut the hexagons
  • Attach to the base card with Dimensionals
  • Arrange the hexagons in the gaps to infill some of the spaces
  • Attach the two layers of sentiment to the card with glue
  • Finish with some Iridecsent Rhinestone gems
  • Don’t forget to decorate the inside!

Voila!

I had great fun making these cards for my customers & Team this month and I would love to know what you think? Please do leave me a comment.
