Welcome to the Crafty Collaborations blog hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from all around the world. We love showcasing the wonderful products which can found in our suite of catalogues. This month we are looking at different ways of using your Designer Series Papers. There are quite a few different techniques which I am sure you will discover today. I chose to create a fun Triple Fold Card.
Peaceful Deer
The Peaceful Deer Bundle is just amazing! its perfect for making lots of different Christmas cards. Something most of us are trying to do right now. The best bit is there a coordinating punch in the bundle which you can use on two of the images. Super quick card making right this way……..
Peaceful Place
This has to be on of my favourite Christmas papers EVER!
Subtle, sophisticated and shiny. I love it!
Just Basic Black, Basic Gray & Basic White with some silver foil highlights. Absolutely Gorgeous.
Triple Fold Card
I made this card on my Facebook Live yesterday and I have to confess I designed the whole card in order to avoid cutting into the wonderful papers! However this is a great technique for showcasing any of our beautiful patterned papers that are just too good to hide!
Talking of which have you seen the Silver Foil speciality pack in the Jul – Dec Mini Catalogue?
It has a brushed metal texture and comes in three different shades. I have used the darkest shade for this card & it adds such a wow when contrasting with the light silver foil elements on the DSP.
The deer as been coloured with just one set of blends and a colour lifter, and is just so easy to do
The front of the card opens up to reveal this wonderful triple fold of this beautiful snowy scene.
I can just imagine the little deer dancing its way through that lovely snowy forest.
You can see the Facebook live recording of how I made this card here

How To Make A Triple Fold Card
- Take the piece of DSP and score at 3.5 cm, 7.0 cm 14.0 cm, 21.0 cm
- Fold and burnish (Mountain, Valley, Mountain and Valley fold)
- Take Layer one (TIP: Die cut out layer 3 to save card) and glue to the base card
- Add the folded DSP with glue
- Take layer 4 and mask off a small strip with a post it note
- Add Smoky Slate Ink with a Blending Brush and then stamp the snowflakes in the same colour
- Remove the mask and stamp the sentiment in Basic Gray Ink
- Stick to layer 4 with glue
- Take your scrap of Basic white card and stamp the deer in Basic Gray ink
- Colour the deer in Gray Granite Stampin Blends & add a little Wink of Stella over the top
- Punch out and add to the card with Dimensionals
- Finish the front with some basic Rhinestones
- Die cut the inner section with the middle sized Scalloped Contour Die
- Stamp the sentiment in Basic Gray Ink and add to the card with Glue (NB you will need to add slightly to the left of centre to avoid seeing the edge once you close the card).
