Awesome Otters
As we enter the last three weeks of Sale-a-bration I wanted to send my customers a card to see the products up close and personal. How cute are these three happy little Otters.
The Simply Marbleous Designer Series Papers are also available as a FREE Sale-a-bration option.
With six different colourways it is such a lovely set of papers that work so well for so many projects.
One of the designs looks like a swirling sea so worked perfectly with the little swimming otter.
Swimming Awesome Otter Thank You Cards
The first layer has been embossed using the Bark Embossing Folder to create an allusion of moving sea & the DSP has been split into three strips to create a fun back ground. The otters were coloured with Stampin’ Blends and as I had a few images to colour I took the opportunity to try out some different colourways and techniques
How to make these Swimming Awesome Otter thank you cards
- Emboss Layer 1 and add to the card base using glue.
- Add the three pieces of DSP to Layer 2 (Basic White) & add to the base card with Dimensionals
- Stamp the sentiment in Memento Ink & add to the card with glue.
- Stamp the image in Memento Ink and colour with Stamping Blends
- Fussy cut out and add to the base card with a Stampin’ Dimensional
- Add a Wink of Stella to the fish and some Shimmery Crystal effects to the nose!
- Finish with sone Blue Adhesive-backed Gems
- Don’t forget to decorate the inside!
