One of the reasons I love Stampin Up is that many of their stamp sets can be used all year round. Take the Sweet Talk stamp set for instance? Although the set is designed around a Valentine/Love theme, I have been making lots of cards for so many different occasions by pairing the images with sentiments & images from other stamp sets. If you would like to see more cards & projects using this set, check out my Face book live from today where I made a Valentines card, a birthday card, one all occasion card and four gift bags along with this Thank You card! All in just over an hour!! Woo Hoo! You can check out all the finished cards on my Facebook page over the next 48 hours.
Sweet Treat
This suite can be found in the 2022 Jan – Jun Mini Catalogue and is what it says on the label! The images are simple, sweet and have a beautiful pastel rainbow colour palette. As I am still on my African winter travels, I am limited in what supplies I have available, but that didn’t stop my creative juices flowing.
Due to my location I am unable to access the website right now to show you the bundle in all its beauty. but I will add all the photos once I get home next week. I was inspired to make this card whilst we were travelling through Victoria Falls as part of our Southern Africa adventure. Who doesn’t love a rainbow?
Sweet Talk Rainbow thank you cards
Thanks to some super sweet offers from Stampin Up! in December, I had lots of Thank you cards to make this month.
As already mentioned this suite is not just for Valentines Day and I used one of the stamps from the Sweet Conversations Stamp Set to create this simple but effective design.
Clean & simple card that I think it would work for so many occasions & was super quick to make.
The colours used are:
Masking technique: The sentiment is from the Blessings of Home Stamp set and I used a post it note to cover the words ‘for inspiring me’, inked the stamp, removed the Post It note for a clean single stamped Thank you.
How to make these Sweet Talk Rainbow thank you cards
- Stamp the images using the inks listed above
- Stamp the sentiment using the Masking technique described above
- Attach to base card using Stampin Dimensionals.
- Finish with some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic \Jewels
- Don’t forget to decorate the inside!
Measurements – Clever Cat thank you cards
- Card Base: Thick Basic White – 29.7 cm by 10.5 cm score at 14.9 cm
- First Layer: Basic White – 13.9 cm by 9.5 cm
Voila!
