Jul 21, 2021 | Card Ideas, Challenge, Colouring

Welcome to the Crafty Collaborations Crafty Challenge blog hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from all around the world. We love showcasing the wonderful products which can found in our suite of catalogues. This month we have a Colour challenge and I thought it would be fun to create some Coloured Embossing paste for my card

Colour Challenge

So this month our theme is to create a project using this wonderful colour combination.

Art Gallery Stamp set

Once again I have used my decorative masks, but this time grabbed the pretty Art Gallery 6Stamp set to bring the design together. This is such an adorable set, works for so many occasions with a great range of sentiments.

coloured Embossing Paste Thinking of you Card

This was originally designed as a birthday card, but decided the image and card base looked better in Basic Black

The background has been made using the Inks and blending Brushes

Place the stencil on top of the blended card

Add memento black ink to the card & THEN add some sparkling embossing paste mixed with the Memento Re-inker. This gives you a much blacker effect.

Voila!

I so enjoyed making this card and I would love to know what you think? Please do leave me a comment.

If you would like to know more about any of my projects please do get in contact and I would be happy to help you

So now it’s time to hop around the rest of the wonderful demonstrators blogs to see some more inspiration for using these wonderful patterned papers

Looks like you and I had the same idea about stenciling the background. Great minds but the black makes your card so dramatic. Wonderful!

Stunning card design. Love the contrast between the sponged background and the black embossing paste.
