The beautiful Artistically Inked Stamp set is one of those stamp sets I just know I will visit over and over again. Its image can be used to create the look of water coloured or alcohol ink images without the need for lots of different speciality papers, as I set out to show on my recent ill fated Facebook Live.
I was in full demonstration mode showing how to create some fabulous backgrounds using these stamps. Sadly Mr Internet had other ideas and the whole street went down just as I started my 5th option. However I bounced back on my next live and showed how to use the backgrounds to make some wonderful bright and vibrant cards. You can see Part one – Create the backgrounds HERE & Part two – Create the cards HERE
I liked it so much I decided to use it for my customer Thank you’s for this month.
Artistically Inked thank you cards Cards
I just love the colour combo of this card – Magenta Madness, Poppy Parade & Daffodil Delight. Just so bright and vibrant.
The background was created using just one stamp on some Fluid 100 Watercolour paper and is just so pretty.
The sentiment is stamped in Magenta Madness Ink and cut out using the fabulous Tasteful Labels. Adding a piece of vellum underneath softens the bright background and allows the sentiment to really pop.
Finally add a few iridescent sequins from the Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack for a little sparkle!
Measurements
- Card Base: Magenta Madness – 29.7 cm by 10.5 cm score at 14.9 cm
- First Layer: Basic White – 12.7 cm by 8.3 cm
- Second Layer: Watercolour card – 12.4 cm by 8.0 cm
- Third Layer: Vellum – 10.5 cm by 4.5 cm
- Fourth Layer: Basic White – die cut using one of the Tasteful Label dies
