The new catalogue is jammed packed with wonderful products and is available to order from tomorrow 4th May. So this week I am showcasing some of the brand new products and sharing the new 2021 -23 In-colors, starting by saying Hello to Fresh Freesia.
So who are we? We are a group of Stampin’ Up demonstrators who just love to stamp where ever and when ever we can. We are also part of a group known as the Royal Stampers who are mainly based around the South of England.
Say Hello To Fresh Freesia
Today I am sharing this beautiful new In-color Fresh Freesia. As with all of our colours, you are able to purchase matching Ink, Paper & Stampin Markers. We also have some wonderful coordinating NEW products – Gorgeous open weave ribbon & the prettiest Shimmer vellum you can imagine (You can just about see the sparkle in the image below)
I am so excited to be sharing a few projects using one of the new bundles available to order from the NEW 2021-22 Annual Catalogue Catalogue, If you don’t currently have a demonstrator and would like me to send you a copy then please contact me and I will pop one in the post to you right away.
Hello To Fresh Freesia card
For my first card I had to use one of my favourite bundle in the New Catalogue. – Color & Contour
The Stamp set in this bundle is made up of sketch style floral images and beautiful mixed style sentiments. There are also some fabulous watercolour style infill stamps so makes colouring these images a doddle!
The Coordinating dies cut out the main floral images, but also include these wonderful scalloped rectangles. each one a different size and with differing stitched decoration. I can’t tell you how happy I am to have these in my collection and know they will be very well used!
How to make this card
- Take the base card and stamp the long floral stem in Fresh Freesia Ink around the edge of the card.
- Stamp two of the images on the scrap of Basic White.
- Take the coordinating infill stamp and colour with Fresh Freesia Ink.
- Colour the leaves with a green Ink ( Here I used Soft Succulent, another new In-color)
- Die cut out the images an set aside
- Cut out the first Layer using the second largest Scalloped die
- Add the second layer of Stunning 2021-23 In-Color Shimmer Vellum using a little Seal+ to the middle of the vellum
- Stamp the sentiment in Memento Ink on to the third layer
- Add to the second layer using Dimensionals
- Wrap some of the open weave ribbon around the layers and tie in a bow
- Attach to the base card using Dimemsionals.
- Slot in the floral images under the ribbon and attach with a little glue
- Finish with a Pastel Pearl.
