This month I thought it would be fun to use a technique for my customer thank you cards.
Thank you for everything butterfly Cards
I haven’t used this technique for quite some time and showed it on my recent Facebook live. Its so much easier than you would think.
I have used my Magenta Madness and Pumpkin Pie Blends, scribbling on the vellum then added some rubbing alcohol (Isopropyl). I practiced on a smaller piece first and then used that for my butterflies!
TIP: Try to use just a little alcohol at a time to keep the colours in the right place!
You can speed up the process with a heat gun, but do make sure you are in a well ventilated room otherwise you really will have a hangover without the fun bits!
The vellum is wrapped around the piece of Pale Papaya and then stuck down onto the card. I just love love love this NEW In-color. So soft and delicate
The sentiment is from the NEW Flowers of Friendship Stamp set and stamped in Magenta Madness Ink.
The pretty shaped end is created using the Lovely Labels Pick a punch. Such an easy way to add detail to your sentiments.
