Make a wish In-colour Card – Tech 4 Stampers Blog Hop

May 11, 2021 | Birthdays, Blog Hop

Welcome to our Tech 4 Stampers blog hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from around the world who are part of a Tech Academy run by the amazing Louise Sims. Her Website School and Tech Academy helps Stampin Up Demonstrators navigate their way around the world of websites and social media. Now many of us have our websites up and running, a blog hop seemed the next logical step. This month we have our first colour challenge. So I thought I would show you my Make a wish In-colour Card that I make a batch of recently to show off the new 2021-23 In-colors

Colour Challenge

Here is this months colour challenge: 2021-23 In-colors (or In-Colours if you are from the UK!) with a bonus option of a Floral element

Now I have introduced the NEW In colours over a series of blog posts, but just in case you missed them, They are from left to right:

  • Polished Pink
  • Pale Papaya
  • Fresh Freesia
  • Evening Evergreen
  • Soft Succulent

So which one is your favourite? I have to admit I am still really struggling to pick just one as I love them all!

Make a wish In-colour Card

So this is one of the cards I sent out to my customers with their Annual Catalogue. I just love showing them different elements from a few stamps and bundles.

The sentiment from the NEW Party Puffins set (so cute!), is stamped in Fresh Freesia Ink

Next add a 1cm strip of each of the new In-colour card stock to the base card. Not wishing to cover up those pretty colours, I then added a layer of vellum die cut using one of the beautiful Scalloped dies from the Scalloped Contours Dies – Another must have! To help cut down on preparation time I used two different sized Scalloped

Finally add one of the flowers from the Meadow dies ( I love these and cutting all six at a time really helped the production line!) with a knot of In-Colour open weave ribbon

Make a wish In-colour Card Measurements

  • Card Base: Basic White – 29.7 cm by 10.5 cm score at 14.9 cm
  • First Layer: Vellum- 14.5 cm by 10.2 cm Die cut using the second or third largest die
  • The rest are just strips and scraps

Voila!

I so enjoyed making this card and I would love to know what you think? Please do leave me a comment.

If you would like to know more about any of my projects please do get in contact and I would be happy to help you

So now it’s time to hop around the rest of the wonderful demonstrators blogs to see some more inspiration for using these wonderful patterned papers
