Berry Easy Sketch Card – Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

Feb 22, 2021 | Birthdays, Colouring

Welcome to the Crafty Collaborations Crafty Challenge blog hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from all around the world. We love showcasing the wonderful products which can found in our suite of catalogues. This month’s challenge is a sketch and with just 7 days left of Sale-a-bration I just had to delve into my gorgeous FREE Berry Blessings Paper bundle for my Berry Easy Sketch Card! Please excuse the pun!

Challenge sketch

Here is this the sketch. We could use it literally or interpretatively as we wished

Berry Blessings

I chose to use the Berry Blessings Stamp set and Berry Delightful DSP combo. I love this FREE Stamp/Paper combo bundle in the Sale-a-bration brochure. It also combines beautifully with the Sweet Strawberry bundle from the Jan to Jun Mini Catalogue and you can earn if for FREE with a £90 order. Woo Hoo!

With my sights firmly set on warmer days and summer outings in the UK I was so drawn these papers with their soft berry images, so juicy and fresh.

Berry Easy Sketch Card

Taking the colour combo from the Berry Delightful DSP, I flipped the sketch by 90 degrees so I could really showcase those wonderful lush blueberries.

The base card is made of Granny Apple Green card stock layered with Basic white and a piece of the DSP.

The navy twine is from the Well Suited Twine Combo pack. Wrap around the whole of the card twice and tie in a bow.

Stamp the image in Garden Green and Pacific Point and then fussy cut.

Pop the image onto two of the layering ovals using Dimensionals. Flick the basic white oval with Pacific Point Marker and Emboss with the Subtle embossing folder.

Punch a shape with the Story Label punch and then emboss with the Subtle embossing folder. Trim to fit the edge of the card and attach with glue.

Stamp the Berry Blessings sentiment in Pacific Point Ink onto a strip of Basic White card and then use the Banner pick a punch to create a lovely feature on the end. Attach to the card with Dimensionals

To finish add some of the stunning Oval Rounds.

Card Measurements

  • Card Base: Granny Apple Green – 21.0 cm by 14.9 cm score at 10.5 cm
