Welcome to the Crafty Bloggers hop. I was recently invited to join this group of amazing demonstrators from all around the world. Each time we will be showcasing some of the wonderful products which can found in our suite of catalogues. I’m so excited to share with you a set of projects from the Annual Catalogue using the Gorgeous Posies Stamp set which accompanies the Kit of the same name.

The Kit is just jammed pack with beautiful pieces to make 16 cards and more. You’ll have endless card making possibilities with this bundle, which you can find on page 8. However if the kit is not your thing then don’t over look the pretty Stamp set. It has lots of options in its own right as I recently showed some my customers at a recent class.

I used quite a few colour in my cards this time, but it was to allow my attendees to pick an option that worked with the inks they had available.

As you can see from the class samples below this set makes super pretty cards

Gorgeous Posies – Get Well Soon

So, for my first card, I pulled out my Sweetly Stitched Dies to create this simple card. I stamped the flowers, buds in Flirty Flamingo and Merry Merlot. Then the leaves in Soft Sea Foam and fussy cut all the elements before assembling. To finish I added some of the Elegant Faceted Gems. How pretty does that look?

In the class I made two other cards using different colours just to show the class attendees how one layout can look so different depending which colour way you chose. Which one is your favourite?

Gorgeous Posies – Celebrate you Day

For my next card I stamped the flowers in Gray Granite on the first layer added the cute dots in the same colour. Because the stamps are Distinktive there is no need to stamp off at any stage making multi layering a cinch! In the centre I used some more fussy cut flowers, but this time I used Bumblebee & added a piece of the coordinating card stock, embossing the sentiment in White . This time I added some gold twine before layering. How stunning does that look?

• Thick Whisper White  – Card Base:  29.7 cm x 10.5 cm – scored and folded at 14.9 cm
• Standard Whisper White – Layer 1: 14.4 cm x 10.0 cm
• Whisper White Die cut  – Layer 2: minimum 10.5 cm x 8.0 cm
• Whisper White – Images: Scrap approximately  10.0 cm x 5.0 cm
• Bumblebee – Sentiment : Scrap approximately  6.0 cm x 4.0 cm

Once again I made two cards using the other colour options. I changed up the twines to coordinate with the colour way. I can’t believe how well they all look with the Gray Granite base stamping.

Gorgeous Posies – Wishing you Comfort

For my final card I used a bit of masking to create a lovely back ground using Highland Heather for the flowers and a splash of Bumblebee Ink for the Buds.

I sued some left over twine from the Kit and stamped the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape. Simple but stunning.

I love how elegant the cards look in the different colours. My customers really enjoyed making these & I hope you do too!
