I go live with two projects every Monday and Wednesday at 11.00 am BST I would love you to join me so don’t forget to like my page and tune in next week. You can find me here
Sneak Peak – World of Good Suite
I love to travel and see the word so when I saw the new catalogue and the new World of Good Suite I was instantly smitten. As an independent Demonstrator I am very lucky to not only see the new catalogue early, but also pre-order a small selection of the new products to showcase. You can’t imagine how excited I was to see this suite in the pre-order list. Woo Hoo!
If you can’t wait to see the annual catalogue and would like to spend time with some like minded crafters, then why not join my team of happy crafters – The Hugs and Kisses. You get to chose £130 worth of products for just £99 and you get 20% discount on your ongoing purchases whilst you remain active. Contact me for more information.
Its Mental Health Awareness Week and so I decided to make some projects that included some easy water colouring, which is a great mindful way to create back grounds.
For my first project I embossed the Globe and sentiment in White Stampin’ Embossing Powder washed some of the re-inker’s over our Watercolour card to create a background. I then die cut it using the Nature’s thoughts Dies and mounted it to a card base of thick Whisper White using foam adhesive stripes. I finished with a splatter of Wink of Stella. Simples!
You might have noticed the roses in the vase. They are from a beautiful rose bush in my garden which was a house warming gift from my late Grandmother over 17 years ago. I love to cut them and put them all over the house as they fill the whole place with a beautiful floral fragrance. Aren’t they gorgeous?
Sneak Peak – World of Good Suite
For the second card I created the same water coloured back ground, this time skipping the embossing element. Whilst it was drying I cut a piece of the new World of Good Speciality Designer Series paper (patterned paper) measuring 10.5 cm by 14.9cm and stuck it to a standard card base of thick whisper white card stock. I then glued to water coloured matt to the base.
The fabulous globe dies are from the wonderful coordinating World map die set, which you can grab as a bundle with a 10% discount! Whoop Whoop
I cut two, one in basic black and the other from a new fabulous Brass foil sheet coming 3rd June. I mounted them slightly skew so the brass foil shone through underneath. The sentiment was embossed using White Stampin’ Embossing powder on Basic black card stock. I fussy cut it out and mounted it using mini dimensionals.
I finished off with some of the new Gilded Gems which are available to purchase now.
Voila!
I really enjoyed these projects and hope you do too!
