Stampin Up demonstrator – Crafty Little Minx – End of SAB 2015 – Facet box

Well there iare just another couple of hours left of this years Sale-a-bration and boy have I had fun, Now I have my blog up and running I have had the opportunity to meet some new crafty friends on-line. There truly are some very talented and inspirational people out there and I feel very humbled to have received a huge amount of support and positive feedback. Today I wish to combine my favourite SAB product with my favourite project currently trending through some of the craft forums at the moment.

The tutorial for the larger facet box by Pootles can be found here. This size could hold a lovely piece of jewellery or few Easter eggs!.

I then adapted the dimensions to create a small box so cute!

These boxes have been made with my very last piece of the Irresistibly yours DSP. I sponged them with Calypso coral starting at the bottom and reducing the amount of ink towards the top to create an ombre effect

I think this looks really effective when viewed from the side. I added a piece of the chevron ribbon cut in half and wrapped around the lid

To finish off the boxes I made two coordinating flowers with the bouquet Bigz die. I’m still undecided as to whether I should move the smaller flower onto the smaller box and use the larger flower. What do you think?
