Stampin Up demonstrator – Crafty Little Minx – Scrapling Penned & Painted
I love making 14cm by 14cm square cards but if you use A4 card stock it does leave you with loads of scraps of card only 7cm wide.
Most of the time I tend to use them to make decorated tags which I carry around with my details on the back, instead of business cards. I have amassed quite a large collection, so thought I would go back to making some scrapling cards which is something I often used to do before I became a Stampin’ Up demonstrator.
So the base card utilises the little strip left over from making the larger card. Dont ask me why, but I’ve always tended to call it a scrapling. I punched out a circle so I could add the ‘topper’ to the inside of the card and it would literally pop! As I already had the lovely Penned and Painted stamp set out on my desk i carried the theme through to create a lovely litle note of thanks
I have to say once I started it was easy to knock up quite a few very quickly. I intended to have these on hand to send out to customers as a thank you’s. However I was able to make so many I also used them as a swap for a team meeting.
I love this combination of blues and pinks. It’s soooo pretty
Let me know what you think?
Sending you thanks for looking
Stampin hugs
Sara
