Origami Christmas Gift Bag

This month we are creating Christmas in July/Packaging projects and I was inspired to make my origami Christmas Gift Bag when I was researching my project for last month…… How’s that for organised!

🛶 Crafting Your Origami Christmas

Celebrate Christmas in July with this charming origami gift bag—perfect for christmas gifting, and also, birthdays, or any glittery occasion!

The bag has been created using a tutorial by Fun Arts & Crafts. You can watch them here.

I used a whole 12″ by 12″ sheet of DSP from the Season of Green & Gold speciality collection . The foiled designs being perfect for the main origami bag.

The bag ‘flap’ & label have been created using the Everyday Arches dies in Mossy Meadow card.

The flap i ssecured at the back with glue and then a magnet at the front for east access

Sone Gold Striped Mesh ribbon adds a touch of luxury

The label has been heat embossed in gold with a single sprig of holly from the Jolly Holly Hybrid Embossing Folder

The bag will fold flat for storing, but I think it would be better to store them as is to preserve their shape.

Origami is a great way to unwind, sharpen your focus, and create something beautiful. Why not maka a whole batch in readiness for christmas gifting. Happy folding!

Sneak Peeks Galore!

We’ve also got a sneak preview of all the tutorial projects, so you can get a feel for what’s in store. You get a look at the entire team’s tutorial projects – there’s something for everyone, from fun folds to elegant techniques and everything in between.

Sneak Peak

Here is a better view of my matching Holly Jolly Card. Its such a fun card, yet should be realively easy for batch making due to the fabulous Hybrid embossing folder.
