This month our theme is to share a technique. I pondered this for a few days and finally decided to create my projects using a technique that I haven’t used for ages. The Bleach Technique

Enduring Beauty Card Using The Bleach Technique

To get the best results with this technique. You need an image that has plenty of open spaces, surrounded by an outline. So the Enduring Beauty Stamp Set was a perfect choice.

The great think about the bleach technique is that it only requires one additional item that you can easily find in most homes. Thick houseold bleach!

Can you believe that this card has been created using a single sheet of Pretty Peacock Card? Who knew that these gorgeous colours would emerge from this coloured cardstock when using this technique. It just proves its always worth experimenting…… if fact you could pretty much use any of our 54 different coloured card stock. Obviously the darker the colour the more dramatic the contrast.

I am pleased with how this card has turned out…….. keep reading to find out how you can grab my top 10 tips of this technique and an alternative colour option.

Alternative colour way

For a complete contrast use Early Espresso.

A drench of sepia tones. I love how by adding additional layers of bleach on the flowers & buds creates addtional shading.

Voila!
