Welcome to our Tech 4 Stampers blog hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators located all around the world. They are members of the Tech 4 Stampers Academy. Now many of us have our websites up and running, we have established a regular blog hop. This month the theme is Blue & White. I am delighted to share my Blue & White Dutch Tulip Card.

Mixed Floral

I am back again with another project using this wonderful spring Mixed Floral Stamp set.

Its such a lovely stamp set and so relaxing to just stamp and colour and which way you please!

Blue & White Dutch Tulip Card

Now, whenever I think about blue and white colour combinations, I will start thinking about the beautiful Dutch delftware. You can see it all over when ever you visit the Netherlands . So this was my starting point for today’s card

Of course nothing is more traditional and evocative of our Dutch neighbours than the stunning tulip. Did you know that it is not their national flower. That humble honour is bestowed on the pretty daisy.

Stamp the images in Blueberry Bushel. Next tint the flowers with a little more ink using a Wink of Stella Glitter pen. This gives it a pretty iridescent wash.

Assemble the layers and you are done!!

Its such a pretty effect and so simple to make.
