Welcome to the Stampin Dreams Blog hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from all around the world. We love showcasing some of the wonderful products which can found in our suite of catalogues. This month’s theme is Autumn/Fall. This gives me the perfect excuse to share this Changing Leaves Stable Door Card. I made it on this weeks Facebook Live.
Changing Leaves Stable Door Card
Well autumn has truly arrived in the UK, with a big drop in temperature & lots of windy overcast weather. Thankfully we managed to escape for a few days in Ireland, where the weather was truly sublime.
So this week I selected the wonderful Changing Leaves bundle as my focus. Here are two of the projects I made.
The sable door was created by cutting across the bottom of the card at 5.5 cm and then up along the scored edge
The leaves were cut and embossed using fabulous hybrid embossing folder from the bundle. Each one was then coloured using some sponge daubers and inks. I wiped a little Delicata gold Ink pad (sadly retired) over the top of the leaves for extra sparkle. Alternatively use a little Metallic Enamel Effects Basics
The inner white layer is stamped in Pecan Pie & Boho Blue Ink applied with a sponge Dauber. The edges are blended in the same ink to create a hint of a vignette.
Doesn’t it look so pretty?
