We love showcasing some of the wonderful products which can found in our suite of catalogues. This month’s theme is Summer Fun! which gives me the perfect excuse to share this fun mint choc chip ice cream swirl card that I made recently.

Mint Choc Chip Ice cream Swirl Card

Summer has finally arrived in the UK Hoorah and what is the perfect accompaniment to a hot summer day? Ice-cream of course.

It is my favourite ‘afters’ and pretty much goes will all other desserts anyway so a double winner

My lovely husband treated me to a gelato machine a couple of years ago and I have been having fun making fresh fruit sorbets & lots of different flavours of frozen yoghurt and ice-cream. His first choice if he can find it is usually min choc chip, which I have yet to master. So I thought I would make him one instead!

The images have been stamped and coloured with blends with extra details applied on the ice-cream using watercolour pencils. The chocolate chips are a mixture of die cut pieces with some smaller flecks using a Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker. A liberal application of some Wink of stella glitter creates some lovely highlights. Almost good enough to eat!

The layer of Soft Sea Foam card has been stamped randomly with one of the sentiments using the coordinating Soft Seafoam Ink and then the edges blended in the same ink to create a hint of a vignette.
