Simply Zinnia Masked Floral Card
This week my featured bundle has been the gorgeous Simply Zinnia Suite.
The card below was designed as part of a recent Team mystery stamping challenge.
My team loved it so I shared how it was made on my Connect-Craft-Chat Facebook live
Can you believe that the flowers on this card are all on just one piece of basic white card?
That’s the beauty & magic of masks!!
- Stamp three large flowers & one double leaf from the Simply Zinnia Stamp Set onto some masking paper or Post it notes and fussy cut out, using Memento Ink.
- Take the large piece of Basic White (Layer 1) and stamp the first flower
- Use the masks over the flowers and leaves as you stamp to create depth and separation on the images.
- Once you have covered most of the Basic White card use Stampin’ Blends to colour the flowers
- Colour the petals in Bubble Gum, Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather, Berry Burst and Dark Lemon Lolly for the centres.
- Colour the leaves in Granny Apple Green.
- Fussy cut out the edge on the right hand side of the flowers
- Use a dark Basic Black Blend on any remaining white areas
- Add to the base card with Dimensionals
- Stamp the sentiment in Memento ink
- Add the small strip of Melon Mambo under the sentiment strip using glue
- Adhere to the card using Dimensionals
- Finish with some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels
Measurement For This Simply Zinnia Masked Floral Card
- Base: Basic Black – 21.0 cm x 14.5 cm Score at 10.5 cm

Just Stunning! I love this soooo much!
Sara, Your card is stunning! I love how you used the stamped image to mask and create an entire card front “blooming” in color! You have inspired me to try this!
