Welcome to the Crafty Collaborations blog hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from all around the world. We love showcasing the wonderful products which can found in our suite of catalogues. Today we are sharing Projects for the Newly Launched 2023-2024 Annual Catalogue and I am excited to share my slimline Rainbow Balloon Birthday card, that I made on my Connect-Craft-Chat Facebook Live this morning.
Slimline Balloon Birthday Card
Did you know you can make your own stencils with dies?
Well today that is exactly what I did. You can use card, masking paper, but today I chose to use some old acetate I had.
You can use Window Sheet from Stampin’ Up!, but it is quite thick and might take a couple of passes in the Cut & Emboss machine, I also show a couple of other ways to create these stencils using stamp packaging and/or clear envelopes
Working left to right I added each balloon using the stencil, Ink and a blending brush. I do love a rainbow!
I chose to keep the card relatively simple, but jazzed it up with plenty of flecks of water, followed by colour using Stampin’ Blends.
Measurement for this Slimline Balloon Birthday Card
- Base: Thick basic White – 21.0 cm x 20.0 cm Score at 10.0 cm on the short side
- First Layer Thick basic White – 20.5 cm x 9.5 cm
Here is a little sneak peak of the other two cards I made
Don’t forget you can see me making all these cards on my Facebook Live. I go live every Monday and Wednesday 11.00 am UK time. Why not pop along and see what I am making?
Voila!
I so enjoyed making this card and I would love to know what you think? Please do leave me a comment.
If you would like to know more about any of my projects please do get in contact and I would be happy to help you
So now it’s time to hop around the rest of the wonderful demonstrators blogs to see some more inspiration for using these wonderful patterned papers
