Daffodil thank you card

This month I am excited to share a fun spring thank you card.

I stamped and coloured the Daffodils on my Facebook live today and just couldn’t resist making it up into a fun card

No Line Colouring

I used a technique called no line colouring for the flowers.

Have you ever tried it? Its such a fun look and really softens the image.

It sounds rather odd and doesn’t mean you a free styling your image

Rather than use a dark background to stamp, pick a light colour that will co-ordinate with the image you will be colouring. For this image I chose to use Daffodil Delight Ink on the live and stamped it straight onto a piece of basic white.

TIP: You can stamp off some of the ink and use a second generation stamp to give an even lighter effect.

The final result should have no dominant outlines and I think it really works with these pretty daffodils

The image is then coloured with stamping blends, but rather than colour inside the line, I coloured right onto the line to cover it up a little.

You can still see the line, but it recedes into the background and in this case accents the flowers.

Once complete die cut using the Oval from from the Framed Florets

To compliment the lovely spring colours add a bow of Pool Party Sheer ribbon around a layer of
