Hello there Crafty friends. Welcome to this month’s Stamp Impressions Europe Blog Hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from all around Europe and we will be sharing some wonderful ideas based around a monthly theme. This month we are sharing some wonderful projects using a sketch as our inspiration & I am thrilled to share my Zesty Lemon Birthday Card
Why Use Sketches?
Sketches are a great way to jump start your creativity. Sometimes it can be a little overwhelming when you don’t have a starting point and that’s where a sketch can really help. One thing less to worry about!
You can stick rigidly to the layout or use it loosely and interpret some of the shapes your own way. Basically anything goes!!

Sweet Citrus
How fresh is this wonderful Sweet Citrus Bundle? The stamp set is fabulous, but where this bundle really comes into its own is when you pair it with the fantastic hybrid embossing folder. This not only contains a wonderful 3D embossing folder, but also 7 dies one of which fits inside the embossing folder saving time creating!
Zesty Lemon Birthday Card
I love that the citrus images can be stamped as lemons, limes, oranges and grapefruit, which makes it so versatile.
This bright & cherry birthday card is so easy to create
The background has been created by stamping the small flowers in Daffodil Delight Ink.
The third layer is a simply embossed piece of Basic White card laid onto a piece of Granny Apple Green
Repeat the embossing, but this time include the accompanying die. It slots into place so you get perfect die cut pieces of fruit
To add the colour simple use a blending brush and some Daffodil Delight Ink
The leaves are stamped in Granny Apple green onto the same colour of cardstock
The sentiment has been stamped in the same Granny Apple Green Ink and a small banner cut into the end of the strip before layering onto the card with Dimensionals
Cut short lengths of white Glittered Organdy Ribbon in half length ways and add to the fruit using mini glue dots
Finish with some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
