Welcome to this months Stampin’ for Christmas Blog hop. We our a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from all over the world sharing Christmas card making and papercraft ideas using Stampin’ Up! Supplies. I am very excited to show you my fun, All Spruced up Outline Christmas Cards.

All Spruced up Outline Christmas Cards – Decoration Rainbow

Here is my first card using the Spruced Up Outline Dies to create a contemporary Slimline Christmas Card.

The background has been created using the Watercolor Shapes Stamp Set in a riot of rainbow colours!

When it comes to die cutting the ornaments, then my tip would be to add some of the Adhesive Sheet to the back of the Basic White card before cutting to make it easier to adhere the shapes to the card.

For some added sparkle I have added a strip of White Glitter Organdy Ribbon and some Iridescent Rhinestone.

How to make this Ornament Rainbow slimline Christmas Card

  • Stamp the rainbow effect using the large and small circles from the watercolour shapes Stamp set (TIP: stamp off the ink and use second generation stamping to create a softer effect)
  • Add some adhesive sheet to the back of the Basic White card & die cut a variety of ornament shapes
  • Add a loop of Organdy Glitter Ribbon and add to the back of the stamped sentiment
  • Finish with some Basic Rhinestones
  • Don’t forget to decorate the inside and the envelope.

All Spruced up Outline Christmas Cards – Present Wreath

This card is just so easy to create and makes use of the wonderful Red & White glimmer card from the July to December mini Catalogue although you could use any Glitmmer/Foli/speciality card

Simple, but effective!

Add a little Real Red ink to the centre of the card using a Blending Brush to pop that sentiment
