Hello and thanks for stopping by my blog today! I’m so happy to be sharing my project with you today and to show you my fun Blended Thank You Card With The New Fresh Cut Flowers Bundle.
I’m so excited to be featured in this month’s International Highlights Top Ten Winners Blog Hop hosted by Kylie Bertucci. I was selected to participate in this hop by finishing in the top ten of the August 2021 International Highlights. A huge thank you to everyone who voted for my card!
The theme for the International Blog Highlights is “Thank You”!
I made this card on a recent Facebook live to showcase the lovely NEW Perfect Partner Fresh Cut Stems dies which are available to order from the 1st September.
This card has been made using the fabulous Stampin Up! Masking paper to create a blended circle on the card. Its a great way to keep the layers down to keep postage costs low, but still add lots of interest.
Measurements for this fun Blended Thank You Card With The New Fresh Cut Flowers Bundle
- Base: Basic Grey – 11-1/2″ by 5-3/4″ scored and burnished at 5-3/4″
- First Layer: Gorgeous Grape – 5-1/4″ x 5-1/4″
- Second Layer: Basic White – 5-1/8″ c =x 5-1/8″
- Flowers: Basic White scraps
How to make this fun Blended Thank You Card With The New Fresh Cut Flowers Bundle
- Take a sheet of Stampin Up! Masking paper and use the largest layering die to create an aperture
- Pop the mask on top of the Basic White Layer and add Flirty Flamingo/ Highland Heather and Flirty Flamingo Ink to the aperture using a Blending brush
- Remove the mask
- Add some highland heather and Gorgeous Grape ink around the end of the white layer using a Blending brush
- Add some ink splatters with the Dark Highland Heather and Flirty Flamingo Stampin Blends
- Stamp the Thanks three times using Basic Grey Ink (the video only shows once but I added two more after I finished!)
- Stamp the flowers onto the scrap of Basic White card and colour with Stampin Blends
- Add a little Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen to the flowers for some extra sparkle!
- Die cut using the corresponding die from the Fresh Cut Stems dies
- Attach with Mini Dimensionals.
- Assemble the card adding Stampin Dimensionals between the First layer and the base card (Swap the Dimensionals and use glue to keep the card thinner)
- To finish colour some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels
- Don’t forget to decorate the inside of the card and the envelope
- You can see exactly how I made this card and two others below on my Facebook Live HERE
