Keep it simple – Tech 4 Stampers Blog Hop

Jun 14, 2022 | All Occasions, Blog Hop

Welcome to our Tech 4 Stampers blog hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from around the world who are part of a Tech Academy run by the amazing Louise Sims. Her Website School and Tech Academy helps Stampin Up Demonstrators navigate their way around the world of websites and social media. Now many of us have our websites up and running, a blog hop seemed the next logical step. This month the theme is KEEP IT SIMPLE, and given my strap line is KEEP IT SIMPLY STUNNING (KISS) I was in my element. So i really hope you enjoy my Hello Beautiful Rainbow Cards

I love making my own patterned cards with smaller stamps and the Hello Beautiful Stamp set is perfect for the job of making simple cards.

To my mind keep it simple is similar to Clean and Simple – lots of space and few if any layers and again this stamp set really fits the bill

I couldn’t make my mind up which stamps to use for my cards so chose to make 4……. That’s me!!!

Hello Beautiful Rainbow Cards

June is Pride Month in the UK so I took I took my inspiration from the flag with a set of rainbow colours and black to add some accents. However you could substitute the colours for any you have to hand or to suit the recipient.

Keeping the bases and layers simply Basic White, with the only thing changing the size of the layer of basic white card, which is raised on Stampin Dimensionals to frame the stamping.

The two largest layered cards were quite similar with some random, abstract clusters of colours punctuated with some Memento Tuxedo Black Ink accents.

The next card utilises the pretty floral shapes in the set and made for a fun thank you card

Again the layer was make slightly small to afford some additional white space. I love the contrast.

The final card was such fun to make and reminds me of the wiggly sugar worms my niece and nephew love to eat!

Don’t forget to add some embellishments!

Measurements – Hello Beautiful Rainbow Cards

  • Base Card(Thick Basic White): 29.0cm by 10.5cm, scored at 14.8 cm
  • First Layer (Basic White):
    • Card 1 – 14.5 cm by 10.2 cm
