Welcome to our monthly Casually Crafting Blog Hop! Today I’m going to show you how to use your Designer Series Paper to Batch make Christmas Cards.

The Casually Crafting Design Team is a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world, gathered together to share our passion for creativity with you. Our focus is to bring you inspiration featuring projects that are easy to create while still packing a powerful creative punch. Colour Challenge
This month we have a colour challenge. Colour challenges are a great way to fire up your creativity and this amazing colour combination was no exception

Peaceful PLace
Today I am using the Peaceful Place Designer Series Papers for my projects
I have been a little naughty as the papers contain some lovely silver foil highlights, but I’m sure my fellow hoppers will forgive me!

Batch make your Christmas Cards
As I have mentioned before when I make my Christmas Cards they will fall into three levels:
- Family and close friends will receive a more intricate card that I have made with them in mind
- Intermediate cards will be for my general card sending and will be quite simple but involve some technique
- Simple Batch made cards- I always have some simple grab & go cards ready. If I don’t use them I donate them to a local charity the following Christmas.
Today I have made 14 cards in under 2 hours! So definitely fall into the last category.
All made with just three sheets of Designer Series Paper – Easy Peasy
Batch make your Christmas Cards – Merry christmas
The first batch uses the silver foiled trees and you can make 6 cards from just one sheet of DSP.
Just stamp your sentiment onto the DSP and add some ribbon and trim. These cards took just 35 minutes to make
Merry Christmas card Measurements
- Base: Thick Basic White– 29.7 cm by 10.5 cm scored and burnished at 14.9 cm
- First Layer: Basic Black – 14.5 cm by 10.2 cm
- Second Layer: Basic Gray– 14.2 cm by 9.9 cm
- Third Layer: Peaceful Place DSP – 13.9 cm by 9.6 cm
Batch make your Christmas Cards – Slimline card
This batch uses the moody snow laden trees and you can make 4 slimline cards from just one sheet of DSP.
Just stamp your sentiment onto the basic White scrap, punch out using the Label me Lovely Punch. Add the little ribbon slot using the Label me Fancy Punch and feed through the ribbon to create a lovely little detail. These took just under 40 minutes to make.
Slimline card Measurements
- Base – Basic Black– 21.0 cm by 20.0 cm scored and burnished at 10.0 cm
- First Layer – Basic Gray – 19.1 cm by 8.1 cm
- Second Layer – Basic White– 18.8 cm by 7.8 cm
- Third Layer: Peaceful Place – 18.5 cm by 7.5 cm
- Fourth Layer – Basic White- 6.0 cm by 6.0 cm
- Inside:- Basic White – 18.8 cm by 7.8 cm
Batch make your Christmas Cards – Distressed Square
This batch uses a four square image sheet so all the work is done for you!
These four square cards took just under 45 minutes to make.
Distressed Square Measurements
- Base – Basic Grey– 29.0 cm by 14.5 cm scored and burnished at 14.5 cm
- First Layer – Basic Black – 14.2 cm by 14.2 cm
- Second Layer – Peaceful Place DSP – 13.9 cm by 13.9 cm (cut at 4.5 cm on the left)
- Inside:- Basic White – 14.2 cm by 14.2 cm
